On May 24, 2025, Travis Hunter was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Leanna Lenee at The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tenn.
At an intimate wedding with 250 guests, one guest stood out in a big way: Deion Sanders Jr. As an established musician, he stole the dance floor and his song “All Fall Down” had everyone in attendance dancing and belting out the stews. Except for him and his family.
Neither Bucky, nor his former coach, Deion Sanders, were present at the Jacksonville Jaguars wedding. However, this was not a product of wear and tear in their relationship. On several occasions they have demonstrated Hunter’s affection for the Sanders family and vice versa.

Recently, Coach Prime wrote on his official X account a message to congratulate him on his birthday, treating him as another “son”, literally: “Happy birthday, son. I love you, my friend. Be better and don’t negotiate your peace,” he shared.
If we go back to 2024, Hunter suffered a shoulder injury and although he gradually recovered he was unable to exploit his two-way offensive side, so fans were quick to show their anger and also blamed his girlfriend.
They harassed her, made her the protagonist of cruel accusations such as infidelity and insulted her repeatedly. Even Travis – who was also receiving insults – went so far as to delete his official social media accounts. That’s when his coach Deion Sanders supported him and asked him not to stop.

United since high school, Hunter wanted to show just how big his love is. The 22-year-old presented Leanna in February 2024 with a princess-cut diamond engagement ring valued at approximately $100,000. “A million times yes,” she said in response, even though months later she was sporting an even bigger ring!

Looking ahead, Travis and Leanna haven’t left out the possibility of starting a family together, but they want to spend some time together as husband and wife before bringing their children into the world.
