Since signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent, Shilo Sanders has been been winning hearts in the locker room.
His latest move was treating fellow rookies to a night of laughs at a Desi Banks comedy show, proving that team bonding doesn’t end at the practice field.
But while Sanders continues to earn points off the field, a humorous social media moment involving the entire Sanders family has fans buzzing and reveals just how tightly the Sanders brand is woven into both football and entertainment.
Shilo posted a now-viral Instagram video over the weekend where he’s seen cracking up next to comedian Desi Banks.
“Why my dad’s saying you look like you’re a Sanders?” Shilo joked, laughing hysterically as he confronted Banks.
When Coach Prime, Deion Sanders himself, chimed in agreeing with the resemblance, Shilo had to press the issue further: “Oh, which one of us does Desi face look like?”
The group eventually landed on Shedeur as the most likely match. The video was posted with the caption, “Is @iamdesibanks part of the Sanders Family ?” and only added to the already electric social media presence surrounding the Sanders name.
Banks fits right into the growing content empire Deion and his sons have built. That connection began in January when Shilo challenged Banks to make him laugh live on stream, offering $200 per chuckle and jokingly promising a Rolls Royce if Banks went above and beyond. Banks had him rolling in under a minute.
The Sanders content machine is thriving, even under NFL pressure
The Sanders family has cultivated a powerful media ecosystem. Their main content hub, Well Off Media, currently boasts over 588,000 YouTube subscribers.
Shilo‘s personal channel adds 187,000 more, while Shedeur‘s crosses 200,000. Even brother Darius and Deion Jr. contribute significantly, handling editing, scheduling, and social strategy. Together, the family’s online footprint is nearing a million subscribers-proof that they’re just as strategic off the field as they are on it.
But beneath the comedy and content, the Sanders family has also been weathering disappointment. During a podcast appearance with Asante Samuel, Coach Prime opened up about the frustration surrounding Shedeur Sanders‘ shocking fall to the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
Rumors swirled that Shedeur had behaved poorly in team meetings, with one anonymous executive accusing him of wearing headphones during a formal interview. Deion Sanders wasn’t having it.
“You’re gonna tell me he had on headphones, Shedeur?” he said, visibly irritated. “Anybody who knows my son understands he’s a professional.” He slammed the narrative as false and damaging, adding, “Stop lying.”
