The image of a united family that the Beckhams have projected for years seems to be cracking, especially with regard to the relationship between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria
Family tensions have become difficult to disguise, and the distance between them seems to have reached a critical point. However, according to a report in the Daily Mail, David Beckham is worried about the situation and wants to make peace with his son, to avoid a repeat of the history he himself experienced with his father Ted, after a fight in 2005.
As a sign of peace, David posted on his Instagram stories a family picture in which Brooklyn also appears, to commemorate Mother’s Day in the United States, which is dedicated to Victoria, his wife and mother of his children.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum. To all our friends in the United States, Happy Mother’s Day!”, David captioned the black and white photo, which shows Victoria with her newborn daughter Harper, who is now 13 years old, as well as Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20.

Brooklyn, the eldest of the couple’s four children, has increasingly distanced himself from the family since his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Although they have tried to show harmony in public appearances, sources close to them say that the differences between the two sides are real and deep.
The most recent breaking point came during the celebration of David Beckham‘s 50th birthday. According to reports, Brooklyn and Nicola had attempted to attend the event, but were refused entry. Since then, they have decided not to participate in any other family gatherings, a clear sign that the bond with their parents is going through one of its worst moments.
