Dave Roberts sent a message to outfielder Michael Conforto, who has yet to convince for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Blues manager went straight to his player, who is in his first season with the team.

What was the message Dave Roberts sent to Michael Conforto, who is not convincing for the Los Angeles Dodgers?

“He’s an everyday player, but I think where we’re at right now, you’ve got to perform to earn that to be in there every day, right? Yeah, that’s right. Nobody’s going to be exempt. Nobody. I just think that we’ve got to play the best players and that’s the way it should be, right?”, Dave Roberts Los Angeles Dodgers manager.

“Obviously Shohei is going to play. Mookie is going to play. But the point is that we have to step up and we have to be better. If other guys deserve more opportunities, then they will get them. That’s the way it should be.”, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

What’s next for the Los Angeles Dodgers?

The Los Angeles Dodgers rested on Monday, September 1, 2025, and beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2025, they will open a series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, whom they previously won two games earlier in the season. Clayton Kershaw will start the series opener on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 3:40 p.m. PT.
