This past Wednesday, November 19, the Los Angeles Rams receiver had an encounter with NBA superstar LeBron James. For the NFL player, the experience was surreal and cinematic.
After all, it is not every day that someone gets the chance to meet one of the greatest players in the history of professional basketball, especially someone currently playing in his 23rd season.

And out of nowhere, he just acknowledged only me in the whole building. He sees me and, like, goes out of his way like, ‘Yeah, baby, I see you in LA.’ And he like dap me up. And I’m like, ‘What the hell is going on?’
But that wasn’t all. Adams also dared to say that if James had played in the NFL, he would have been one of the league’s greatest talents.

From Davante Adams’s perspective, his arrival to the Los Angeles Rams has been about more than performance on the field. He has said that joining the team brought a new feeling and a fresh sense of identity to the locker room.
I think I kind of stepped up y’all’s swag since being here.

He also added that his decision to join the team stemmed from what he had seen previously and from the depth Matthew Stafford was commanding, something that strongly caught his attention and made him want to be part of this change.
Sean McVay pushed during the offseason to bring the player in, and now that he has him at his disposal, he has managed to get the most out of him for the benefit of the franchise, maximizing the skill set Adams brings while helping reinforce the broader goals of a team seeking to reestablish its position among the NFL’s strongest contenders through discipline, chemistry, and a renewed sense of purpose across the organization.
