Dani Alves continues to dominate the media after his acquittal of the charges against him since 2023 for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a well-known nightclub in the city of Barcelona. It should be remembered that it was a highly publicized judicial process.

After being released from prison after being imprisoned since 2023, approximately two years, the former player is already preparing some matters that he had pending, and has decided to focus on his former club, Pumas.

After the emergence of the case in which Dani Alves was accused of alleged sexual assault, the Mexican club decided to terminate the contract of its then player, arguing that he was not fulfilling his obligations due to his delicate legal situation in Spain. This was a decision that the Brazilian did not like at all, and he is already preparing a lawsuit against Pumas.

From the point of view of Alves’ lawyers, the Mexican team decided to break his contract with the player in an early manner and without any justification. The journalist who revealed the information was Ignacio Suarez, who confirmed that the university club is in serious trouble because of the lawsuit that Dani Alves will file.

These are the details of Dani Alves’ lawsuit against Pumas

According to the journalist, by rescinding the Brazilian’s contract, Pumas should pay the amount of two million dollars to the former player as compensation. In addition, among the legal actions that Alves will file against Pumas, according to Suarez, are the following: “Civil lawsuit for moral damages, criminal complaint for defamation and labor lawsuit for unfair dismissal, plus payment of wages.”

Finally, it is worth noting that Pumas have already lost their first legal battle against Dani Alves, as in their first hearing at the CAS, the body decided that the club had unilaterally terminated the contract.
