There are rivalries that know no end. This is the case with UFC president Dana White and Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar de la Hoya, who insist on expressing their enmity through statements.
- The former boxer scoffed by commenting that this event was “pure smoke” and did not offer any interesting news in sporting terms. For him, it was a joke that deceives the audience.
As expected, White was not going to remain silent, so he responded to his counterpart. Among other things, he told him to pay the $23 million rent debt he owes to Golden Boy Promotions.
There was no new ring, no new belt, no new rules and no new faces. Does anyone recognize those guys? We were told that boxing was broken and that they were coming to change it and fix it. But all they did was copy and paste what has been done for over a hundred years
In front of the Kick microphone, accompanied by his host Nina Drama, the UFC president expanded on his comments by stating that De La Hoya’s promoter is in decline and slowly sinking. But that’s not all, he also sent him to OnlyFans.
Dana White sends him to OnlyFans
The UFC president does not forget and does not forgive the moment when the former boxer appeared in a video with his partner, Holly Sonders, dancing in his underwear and showing it off on social media. It was in August 2024 when De la Hoya, without imagining it, was going to give White enough reason to laugh at him and remind him of that passage every time he can.
She’s going to have to go back and put on the panties and the damn stockings and get on OnlyFans and start paying her rent (…) that boy is running out of money. His ship is sinking very fast, and he’s talking s#$% all the way
How did the animosity between Dana White and Oscar de la Hoya come about?
It all started in 2016 when the Golden Boy boss criticized the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. He accused his UFC counterpart of sullying and tarnishing a sport like boxing. His words did not sit well with White, who responded by telling him that he was a “hypocrite” in need of attention
Two years later, they crossed paths again when De La Hoya promoted the fight between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. At the time, White branded him a “liar” and “irresponsible” for encouraging such a fight.
Since then, the UFC president has stepped up his insults and slurs, even going so far as to get involved in the former boxer’s personal life. He even went so far as to accuse him of being addicted to cocaine, which he insists on reiterating in a mocking manner.
