The new boxing league project promoted by Dana White and Turki Alalshikh aims to revolutionize pugilism after signing a multi-year agreement, which even Canelo Alvarez approves of despite his previous differences and disagreements with the two characters.

“I think they’re going to do what’s best for the fighters and I’m pretty sure of that. I’m glad that someone is taking care of the fighters because there are a lot of promoters who don’t take the fighters seriously. Dana White commits to working for boxing

In the framework of UFC 313, where Magomed Ankalaev ended Alex Pereira’s reign by defeating him by unanimous decision, Dana White, in his capacity as UFC CEO, spoke at the post-fight press conference and had words that can be interpreted as a peace offering to Canelo Alvarez

The recent partnership between Canelo Alvarez and Riyadh Season, under the direction of Turki Alalshikh, puts a professional meeting with Dana White on the horizon, so the boxing league could be scheduled for September, when the Mexican is expected to fight Terence Crawford, which for now could be in Las Vegas, before his next signed commitments are in Saudi Arabia
