Dallas Cowboys reveal an important detail about George Pickens; Las Vegas Raiders respond with a plan against him

The matchup against Dallas is important for Las Vegas. They know it’s a good opportunity to shine and spoil the Cowboys’ hopes of a win. To do that, they must keep close watch on wide receiver George Pickens, who carried Dallas’ offense in CeeDee Lamb’s absence. The Raiders already have plans to stop him.

Patrick Graham, Las Vegas’ defensive coordinator, noted that Pickens’ speed is admirable. He also believes his pass-catching ability and his “savvy” on the field are qualities that make him stand out. Graham sees in him a talent similar to that of an NFL legend, Randy Moss.

I’m not going to make comparisons because, again, I’m talking about someone I used to watch many times in practice: Randy Moss, the best to ever do it. But I’m not making that comparison, even though I’ve seen flashes of those kinds of plays before

Cornerback Eric Stokes is excited to face his former University of Georgia teammate. He knows him very well, he has studied him thoroughly. For that reason, he highlighted that Las Vegas has planned an aggressive coverage on Pickens the moment the wide receiver gets the ball.

That man catches practically everything. So rule number one is you’ve got to attack the ball first

George Pickens is the key player for the Raiders. Their strategy against the Cowboys is mainly based on covering him tightly to prevent him from playing the way he knows how.

The Dallas Cowboys’ revelation about Pickens

CeeDee Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 3 against the Bears and missed three games. To replace him, the Cowboys decided to trust George Pickens, and he responded with strong performances on offense.

Junior Adams, the receivers coach, was honest in saying that Pickens is truly the one who has “carried” Dallas this season. He indicated that the receiver’s success comes from enjoying the Cowboys’ system and knowing how to handle the pressure of responsibility.

Adams’s remarks were heard in Las Vegas. That’s why the Raiders focused on designing a special plan to keep Pickens from finding comfort in the attack.
