Terence Crawford has been enjoying his resounding victory over Canelo Alvarez with appearances at various sporting events, his own parade in Omaha, Nebraska and through his social media posts.
As the undisputed 168-pound champion, a rematch against the Mexican fighter looks unlikely after his clear defeat against a boxer who has made his career several divisions below the super middleweights.

While it is being clarified what his next step will be, his trainer Bernie Davis points out the price that is necessary to ‘motivate’ The Bud to return to the ring.
100 million, not 75 or 90, 100 million. If not, why would he do it? He’s not going to fight for anything.
“Crawford doesn’t need to do anything else. Only if they offer him 100 million and put the belts on the line, he could return to the ring,” he told MillCity Boxing.
The problem is how difficult it is for Crawford or any other opponent to generate so much money in a fight, as the Omaha native does not have that economic magnetism.
David Benavidez, Crawford’s path to $100m
The name suggested for his next fight is the ‘heir’ to Saul Alvarez: David Benavidez, even by his ‘benefactor’ Turki Alalshikh.
Perhaps if the Saudi Arabian sheikh wants the fight, Crawford could get his big payday, but otherwise it looks difficult, as between the four highest-grossing pay-per-views in The Bud’s fights, they add up to just $102.3 million.
