During ‘Cowboys Night’ -the last practice of training camp taking place inside AT&T Stadium-, a fan took the opportunity to voice a clear demand directly to team owner Jerry Jones. As Jones addressed the crowd from a podium on the field, the fan shouted, “We want Micah!”.

This was an obvious reference to edge Micah Parsons, whose offseason uncertainty has left fans anxious. The moment captured the growing frustration and passion of the Cowboys’ fanbase.

Fans demand clarity on Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons, one of the team’s cornerstone defensive players, requested a trade weeks ago amid stalled contract negotiations. This isn’t the first time Cowboys fans have expressed their discontent toward Jerry Jones. There have also been other videos in previous practices where whole crowds started chanting the mentioned before:

We want Micah!

The outburst highlighted the intense conenction fans have with key players and their impatience with offseason ambiguity.

Offseason tensions and fan reactions

The Cowboys’ offseason has been full of uncertainty, with changes in coaching staff, roster moves, and trade speculation surrounding Parsons. Fans have expressed their opinions loudly, both on social media and at public events like this practice.

The incident demonstrates how invested the fanbase is and how they are paying close attention to the organization’s handling of its star players. Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, the situation looks far from being over.
