Colin Cowherd predicts winner of Super Bowl rematch: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Kansas City Chiefs stumbled out of the gate this season, losing 27-21 to the Los Angeles Chargers and landing in an uncertain position in the standings. The international matchup in Brazil was further marred by the injury of wide receiver Xavier Worthy.

On the other side, the Philadelphia Eagles began their campaign with a strong start, defeating the Dallas Cowboys 24-20 in the season opener at Lincoln Financial Field. As in last season, the Eagles showcased a dynamic duo in quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are set to host one of the most anticipated matchups of Week Two in the NFL. The game carries extra significance for the Chiefs, who are seeking revenge after their 40-22 loss to the Eagles in last year’s Super Bowl. While predicting the winner remains challenging, sports analyst Colin Cowherd has shared his clear outlook on the contest.

Colin Cowherd weighs in on Chiefs vs. Eagles

Colin Cowherd is widely recognized for his sharp insights on NFL matchups, often sparking lively discussions across the league. In his latest commentary, Cowherd has weighed in on the highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and Eagles, revealing his pick for the winner.

In the latest episode of his show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, he shared his thoughts on Sunday’s matchup. “I think it’s close and low scoring, but I’m going to take Philadelphia to win and cover,” said Cowherd, confidently predicting the Eagles as the victors.

According to Cowherd, there will not be any revenge for the Kansas City Chiefs and he explained why, “Listen, they led 34 (to) nothing in the third quarter against Kansas City (in the Super Bowl). They got more good players. They’ve won 17-of-18 games including the playoffs and if Jalen Hurts starts and finishes a game, they’ve won 15 straight.”

However, Cowherd noted that the Kansas City Chiefs will put up a strong fight against the Eagles. “I think Kansas City comes out with incredible pride, plays over themselves and makes it close, but the Chiefs are 2-3 in their last five games,” he said. He added, “I think it’s really low scoring, I think it’s close, but I’m going to take the Eagles with a late touchdown to win 28-20.”

Super Bowl rematch: Chiefs vs. Eagles promises high-stakes NFL action

Despite Colin Cowherd’s prediction, the outcome of the Chiefs vs. Eagles Super Bowl rematch remains uncertain. The game promises to be full of emotions, with Kansas City seeking revenge and Philadelphia aiming to consolidate its dominance on the field.

Fans can expect a high-stakes, closely contested matchup that could set the tone for the rest of the NFL season. For the Chiefs, the key will be containing quarterback Jalen Hurts and managing the speed of Saquon Barkley, while the Eagles will aim to control the game as they did in last year’s Super Bowl, relying on their dynamic offense and disciplined play.
