“I think this is disrespectful,” said Dempsey addressing that the U.S. deserved to be the main show, as Mexico’s National Team would be in a ‘Prime Time’ as the second game on the cards.
“You gotta go out and prove you should be the main show,” he added after a first half where Mauricio Pochettino’s team failed to make a difference.
After losing to Panama, they will miss the grand final and will now play for third place next Sunday.
