The Cleveland Browns will begin their mandatory minicamp from June 10-12, where quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel will have the opportunity to showcase their skills prior to preseason workouts.

As voluntary OTAs come to an end, the Cleveland Browns are preparing to begin their mandatory minicamp that will be crucial in laying the foundation for the team ahead of training camp

This three-day event marks a significant point in the preseason calendar where the Browns rookies and veterans will be required to attend, unlike previous voluntary sessions.

Who will be the Cleveland Browns’ starting quarterback?

The focus will be on the quarterback rotation that the Browns have put together for this season. With Shedeur Sanders generating expectations as the team’s potential future, veteran Joe Flacco bringing his Super Bowl experience, and rookie Dillon Gabriel looking to earn a spot, these three days represent a crucial window for the coaching staff to evaluate the hierarchy at the team’s most important position.

The mandatory minicamp, scheduled for June 10-12, will be the last organized event before the players enjoy a short break before the start of training camp in July.

The Cleveland Browns’ mandatory minicamp will test one of the most interesting situations in the NFL: the competition for the starting quarterback job. Joe Flacco, who provided stability to the team last season following Deshaun Watson’s injury, arrives with the experience and recognition of having been a decisive factor in keeping Cleveland competitive, as well as being a reliable option if the team needs immediate results.

Cleveland Browns aim for the future with Shedeur Sanders

On the other hand, Shedeur Sanders represents the future. The young quarterback arrives with high expectations after his outstanding college career and will have his first real opportunity to work with the full set of receivers and under the conditions of a full professional training session at this minicamp.

Meanwhile, Dillon Gabriel, a later-round draft pick, will look to prove he can exceed expectations and earn a spot in the rotation, knowing that every rep over these three days will be critical to his development and staying with the team.

Regarding the comparison between these two players, Ossacins Ducktail commented on the differences in size between the two, and even suggested that Dillom may have lied about his height.
