The China Open has been a staple of professional tennis since 1993, showcasing some of the sport’s greatest talent as over the years, both men’s and women’s singles competitions have produced memorable champions: But who are they? Here is a full list.

Several players have claimed multiple titles, including osme of the very biggest names in the sport as the tournament’s prestige continues to grow, drawing top-ranked stars each year to Beijing.

For example, the men’s singles competition has crowned 15 different champions in 23 editions – highlighting just how seriously it is taken across the ATP Tour from the very best down to the more optimistic hopefuls.

The tournament’s first champion was Michael Chang in 1993, and the most recent title went to Carlos Alcaraz in 2024 but since 2009, Novak Djokovic has dominated the trophy with six titles.
