Chiefs’ hold on AFC No. 1 seed loosens as top rival gets incredible news

The Buffalo Bills are heading into the 2025 NFL season with lofty expectations, as DraftKings Sportsbook has favored them in every single game on their schedule. This marks the second time in recent years that Buffalo has entered a season as the preseason favorite in all matchups, mirroring their 2022 campaign, when they finished 13-3 overall but 8-7-1 against the spread.

Buffalo’s consistent regular-season success is a major factor in their projected dominance. The Bills have won five consecutive AFC East titles and made six straight playoff appearances, solidifying their status as one of the league’s most reliable powerhouses. Despite falling short of a Super Bowl berth, their ability to remain competitive has earned them widespread confidence from oddsmakers.

Another key reason for Buffalo’s favorable outlook is their schedule structure. Several of their toughest matchups-against the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs,Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals-are set to take place at Highmark Stadium, giving them a home-field edge in games that might otherwise be seen as toss-ups.

There is no reason to believe they’ll be on top

Their road schedule also appears manageable, as only two of their eight road opponents-the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers-made the playoffs last season. The Steelers, in particular, face uncertainty at the quarterback position, with an impending decision from Aaron Rodgers affecting their outlook.

Additionally, the Bills benefited from their division’s overall struggles last season. They were the only AFC East team to avoid a losing record in 2024, making their intra-division matchups more favorable. A slate of games against the NFC South, a division that had just one team finish above .500 last year, further strengthens their path to success.

With Josh Allen leading the offense, Buffalo is poised for another deep playoff push. Whether they can finally make their long-awaited Super Bowl breakthrough remains to be seen, but if early betting odds are any indication, Las Vegas is confident in the Bills’ ability to dominate the 2025 regular season.
