Charissa Thompson recently shared a series of snapshots giving fans a glimpse into her personal life and among the images were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during a vacation – with the NFL star weighing in to react.
The reporter posted the photo collection to Instagram as she celebrated her offseason away from the microphones and cameras, which included mingling with the global pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs‘ tight end.
“An offseason to remember … SO grateful for the moments, memories and these people,” Thompson wrote, before Travis responded to the post with a playful nod to his own offseason.
“Football’s back! But damn that offseason was fun!!” Kelce commented, signaling that he enjoyed both his personal and professional downtime, amid a busy summer in his personal life as he popped the question to Swift.
His reaction comes on the heels of an impressive season with the Kansas City Chiefs, who were in contention to achieve a historic Super Bowl three-peat but came up short against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift not yet planning their wedding
During the offseason, Kelce and Swift spent time in Europe and attended various high-profile events together, including the Tight End University event as he also launched his own restaurant with Patrick Mahomes.
But the couple recently made headlines first for their announcement of Taylor’s new album on Travis’ New Heights show and then by announcing their engagement, marking a milestone in their two-year relationship.
The engagement announcement was made official on August 26, accompanied by a series of intimate photos capturing the proposal in Kelce’s home garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
The woman held her man’s face as they looked lovingly into each other’s eyes as he got down on one knee, with Swift in a striped white and black dress, and Kelce sported a casual blue T-shirt paired with white pants.
The setting featured an abundance of white, pink, and pastel-colored flowers, surrounded by lush greenery. Swift captioned the post with a playful line reflecting their personalities: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Yet despite the public announcement and celebratory photos, which threatened to break the internet, sources indicate that the couple is not yet in the wedding planning stage.
“Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement,” a source told People. “They are not in the wedding planning phase yet.
“Right now, they just want to enjoy being engaged, and they are going to take their time with it.”
