The Dallas Cowboys kick off their preseason on Saturday, traveling to California to take on the Los Angeles Rams. The start of preseason comes at a trying time for the organization. Tensions remain high as star pass-rusher Micah Parsons continues to wait for a big contract extension, with his trade request not being withdrawn yet.

Jerry Jones and the front office aren’t budging anyway, disregarding Parsons’ trade request and making clear that he isn’t going anywhere. But contract negotiations continue to be in a holding pattern, despite some slight optimism in recent days. That optimism has been amplified now, as wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has gotten Cowboys fans feeling hopeful with his recent comments.

CeeDee Lamb is confident Micah Parsons will stay with Dallas Cowboys

Lamb oozed positivity when asked about the status of the contract negotiations on Friday. The wideout doesn’t love how the situation has played out, but he thinks it will get resolved, with Parsons staying in Dallas.

“I feel like he’s going to be here. The reaction was crazy. It is a little disappointing, but it is what it is. You gotta do what you gotta do and he’s gotta do what’s best for him, his family.“

Lamb understands the situation because he already went through it. And just like Parsons, Lamb did what was best for him and his family. Ultimately, it worked out for Lamb, and the general feeling is that it will work out for Parsons too. The question has been whether it works out in Dallas, but Lamb is confident it will.
