There is no doubt that the Dallas Cowboys are-and will continue to be-the most spotlighted team during the regular season. Right now, the headlines may be focused on Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns, but that’s temporary. Jerry Jones’ team has historically been the most followed and media-driven franchise in the NFL worldwide.
The Cowboys haven’t reached the Super Bowl since 1996, and it’s starting to become frustrating. In recent years, they’ve been contenders, but in the playoffs, Dak Prescott hasn’t been able to take that next step-just like Tony Romo in his time. And 2025 looks like it could be a very difficult year for the team led by Brian Schottenheimer.
The NFC East, where the Dallas Cowboys play, is currently led by the Philadelphia Eagles, the reigning champions and once again favorites in the NFC. The Washington Commanders have also taken a big step forward, so the situation looks tough for the team with the lone star.
CeeDee Lamb issued a strong warning
Despite all the problems surrounding the Dallas Cowboys, the team still has talented players on its roster-especially on offense. One of them is undoubtedly CeeDee Lamb, a receiver who has surpassed 100 receptions and 1,000 yards in each of the past three seasons. Physically, he looks impressive heading into 2025.
“I feel like the league knows what happens when I’m healthy and I have Dak for a full season,” said CeeDee Lamb. “But if they don’t, I’ll gladly show them what it’s going to be like this year. Honestly, I’m a dominant receiver. I don’t like to speak highly of myself, but I can’t wait to show everyone.”
Back in the 2023 season, when Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb were both healthy, it was an impressive campaign. Dak finished second in MVP voting, and Lamb led the NFL with 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
“I feel like the league knows what happens when I’m healthy and I have Dak for a full season,” Lamb said again.
So, the Cowboys’ offense could be dangerous-if they stay healthy-especially with the addition of George Pickens to the receiving corps this year. Jerry Jones’ team might end up surprising a few people.
