CeeDee Lamb backed Brian Schottenheimer as the Dallas Cowboys’ head coach-and also sent a message to the Eagles and Commanders

The Dallas Cowboys haven’t played in a Super Bowl since 1996, and the lack of results is beginning to cause frustration. Although they’ve been in the playoff conversation in recent years, Dak Prescott hasn’t been able to make a difference in the postseason, similar to what happened during the Tony Romo era. The 2025 season is shaping up to be especially challenging for the team now led by Brian Schottenheimer.

In the NFC East, the division where the Cowboys compete, the Philadelphia Eagles remain the reigning champions and are once again positioned as the top favorites in the conference. In addition, the Washington Commanders have shown significant improvement, which further complicates the outlook for the team with the lone star.

Last season was painful-Commanders and Eagles faced off in the NFC Championship, and the Cowboys missed the playoffs, in a season that started off rocky and ended up going to waste after Dak Prescott got injured in October.

CeeDee Lamb praised the new Dallas Cowboys Head Coach

“I like what he’s doing. We need discipline,” Lamb told the media, according to the team’s official site. “My respect to him for that.”

For Brian Schottenheimer to succeed, one of the players who needs to step up again is CeeDee Lamb, who has a strong case to be considered the best wide receiver in the NFL. In four of his five seasons in the league, he’s surpassed 1,000 yards and has 38 total touchdowns. Sure, there’s Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, but Lamb is something else.
