“Those are conversations we have. Clay (Holmes), the last time he pitched against the Padres on regular rest and we saw the results. We will continue to monitor it. We feel good about it. They understand that at some point throughout the year, you’re going to have to pitch on regular rest. (David Peterson) has done it. We’re not worried at all.,” said New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza.
