Voting for the MLB Hall of Fame Class of 2026 concluded nearly two weeks ago. Carlos Beltrán, Andruw Jones, and Jeff Kent have now decided how they want to be remembered by future generations, selecting the team logos that will appear on their Hall of Fame plaques.

Beltrán and Jones were elected by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America, while Kent earned his place through the Modern Era Baseball Committee.

In his fourth year on the ballot, Beltrán received 358 votes (84.2%). Jones, in his ninth year, collected 333 votes (78.4%). A minimum of 319 votes was required for induction.

With that milestone achieved, the final step for the inductees was choosing the team logo that would symbolize their careers in Cooperstown.

Which teams will the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 represent?

The Hall of Fame announced the following team selections for the inductees’ plaques:

Carlos Beltrán: New York Mets

Andruw Jones: Atlanta Braves

Jff Kent: New York Yankees

Beltrán explained:

“With the Mets, I experienced my greatest individual growth and success. I’m honored that my Hall of Fame plaque will feature the Mets logo.”

Jones reflected: “The Braves were the team that gave me my first opportunity to chase the dream I had since I was a little kid. I am proud to wear the ‘A’ on my plaque.”

Kent added: “Each stop along my career path was important to me, but it was with the Giants where I had the most success and spent the most time during my career.”

When will the Hall of Fame induct its Class of 2026?

This year’s induction ceremony will be held on July 26 on the steps of the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. The event begins at 1:30 p.m. ET.

As tradition dictates, each plaque will be unveiled just before the inductee’s acceptance speech, serving as the highlight of Hall of Fame Weekend.
