The best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Mexican Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, is preparing for his long-awaited fight with Terence Crawford, but while that is happening, his wife, Fernanda Gomez, has shared the upcoming birth of another child.

This is how Canelo Alvarez is getting ready, once again, to show his dominance at the top of world boxing, but now, in addition to promoting his fight against Crawford, he is also celebrating with his wife Fernanda Gomez this important news, which has come through social networks.

Canelo is very much in love with his partner during the trip they have made to Saudi Arabia to promote the fight with ‘Bud’, so they have received many reactions and comments on platforms such as Instagram. With this, the great Mexican champion made it clear that he has no qualms when it comes to celebrating important news in his life with his whole family.

Canelo Alvarez and Fernanda Gomez share that they will be parents again

In this way, Canelo Alvarez’s wife Fernanda Gomez has shared with her millions of followers on social media the romantic way in which she wanted to celebrate that they will be parents again with an image in which she appears with a small belly to announce this.

“Photos that I forgot to upload,” was Fernanda Gomez’s message in her publication shared from Meta’s social network during the day in which her husband, Canelo Alvarez, is preparing and promoting his next fight against Terence Crawford in September 2025.

How many more years will Canelo Alvarez remain active?

In addition, at 34 years of age, Saul Alvarez himself acknowledged in an interview with legendary former soccer player Hugo Sanchez that he plans to continue putting on the gloves for at least another four years.

“From the age of 28-29, this is the age where I have felt best. I have always said that at 37 is a good age to enjoy what I have done with my family, other things in my career and that’s what I say; but I said I would debut at 18 and I did at 15,” Canelo Alvarez told ESPN at the time.

Canelo Alvarez wants to fight at the Estadio Azteca before retiring

But before thinking about leaving, Canelo warned that first he wants to organize a fight in Mexico’s biggest sports venue, the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

“I am interested in fighting at the Estadio Azteca. I would love to have a fight before I retire at the Azteca,” said Canelo Alvarez about the last moments he plans for his successful sports career.
