Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is preparing for his first fight in Saudi Arabia, where he will face Cuban William Scull

Canelo Alvarez shows off good physical shape ahead of fight with William Scull in May

In a short video posted on social media, the Mexican boxer can be seen training and having fun for his first fight of 2025.

It is worth noting that Canelo will make his debut in Saudi Arabia and May 3 will be the first of three fights he agreed with the promoter Riyadh Season in the Arab country and one more in Las Vegas, which will be in September against Terence Crawford.

With a few seconds of video, Canelo can be seen in good physical shape to face the Cuban, who comes to the fight with the International Boxing Federation title, which Canelo vacated last year

This is how Canelo Alvarez and William Scull arrive at the fight on May 3 in Saudi Arabia

The Mexican pugilist currently holds the titles of the World Boxing Association, World Boxing Council and World Boxing Organization.

Scull is 32 years old and has accepted the fight against Canelo with excitement, calling it the “best of his life”.

“It’s the fight of my life, not because of the economy. It’s the fight of my life because of where you come from and where you’ve come without making much noise,” he told ESPN Knockout.
