This was revealed by Alvarez himself in an interview with The Ring Magazine, a boxing magazine.
Canelo Alvarez already has an opponent for one of his two fights in 2025
For 2025, Canelo is already planning his classic two fights and this will be the case until 2029. For the moment, the pugilist already has his battle confirmed with Terence Crawford on September 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
At stake will be the Mexican boxer’s super middleweight titles, where the Guadalajara native has established himself as the undisputed champion. In addition, both fighters are expected to have a warm-up fight before their showdown in September.
It would be in May, a traditional date for Canelo, when the Mexican should agree to his next appearance in the ring and thus complete his 2025 to begin his arduous physical and mental preparation.
