Caitlin Clark’s sophomore season hype is real: Fever ticket prices sky-high

After a stellar rookie season that saw Caitlin Clark claim the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year title, the Indiana Fever are ready to hit the court again, starting with a preseason game on May 3. Expectations are sky-high for the 23-year-old point guard, who was instrumental in leading the Fever to their first playoff berth since 2016.

Clark’s debut season was nothing short of remarkable. She led the league in assists and three-pointers made, earned All-Star and All-WNBA First Team honors, and became a cornerstone of the Fever’s resurgence. Everyone is excited about the young star’s second year and people are already gearing up to buy tickets.

Fans eager to see Clark and the Fever in action can find tickets for home games at Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse starting as low as $12. Away games, however, come at a premium, with prices ranging from $54 to $192. The Fever’s schedule includes exciting matchups against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky, Paige Buecker’s Dallas Wings, and Breanna Stewart’s reigning champion New York Liberty.

The reason behind the anticipation

As Caitlin Clark she enters her sophomore season, new head coach Stephanie White is focused on helping Clark evolve her game. “We have to make sure we help her diversify her defining ability so that she’s not predictable,” White said on the Good Follow podcast. “We can’t be so predictable with so much athleticism, speed, and quickness.”

The Fever’s 2025 roster is packed with talent, including center Aliyah Boston, shooting guard Kelsey Mitchell, and forwards DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard. Boston, a former No. 1 pick, averaged 8.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks last season, while Mitchell matched Clark’s scoring average of 19.2 points per game. Together, they form a formidable lineup poised to make waves in the league.

As the Fever prepare for the 2025 season, the spotlight remains firmly on Clark. Her ability to adapt and elevate her game will be crucial as the team aims to build on last year’s success. With a strong roster and a new coach at the helm, the Fever are poised to make another playoff run-and perhaps even contend for a championship.
