Caitlin Clark has once again turned down a proposal outside the WNBA, her love of sports, football and golf, is not easy to seduce, no matter how much money is offered. It seems that she is not interested in challenges outside her world with the Indiana Fever.
The WNBA Rookie of the Year took part in an event called “Visit the State of Tourism in Indianapolis,” where she was asked to choose between taking a few laps at the famous Brickyard Crossing or skating at full speed at Bicentennial Unity Plaza. When she said, “I’ve never played at the Brickyard and I should probably avoid the ice,” everyone burst out laughing.
Indiana Fever President Kelly Krauskopf and General Manager Amber Cox couldn’t stop laughing and nodded in agreement. Although Caitlin ruled out hockey, she made it clear that she was excited to play golf at the Brickyard, and of course she is a huge fan, always showing off her skills on social media.
Her other passion is golf
The athlete has also shown her skills on the professional golf circuit. She recently played in a pro-am tournament at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, where she shared the course with world number one Nelly Korda and legend Annika Sörenstam.
Clark returned to the PGA Tour for the second year in a row, this time playing in the RSM Classic in Sea Island, Georgia. Unlike her previous LPGA appearances, her participation in this tournament was a secret until a few days before the start of the event.
Despite not being the top player in the world, she didn’t do too badly and showed that she can compete at the highest level. But her mind is 100% focused on the upcoming WNBA season with the Indiana Fever.
And let’s not dwell on the past, Caitlin has made her commitment to the Indiana Fever very clear, she recently turned down a spot in the NBA All Star Game and also a million dollar offer to play in the new league, Unrivaled. Absolutely crazy.
Her image is growing and growing and getting greedier and greedier, maintaining that great value that she carries at her age, she has been seen a little more attached to those golf projects, but it does not go beyond casual participations. We will see if in the future she opens her professional horizons a little more, but it is very obvious that it is not a question of money, but a question of Caitlin Clark’s desire.
