More than 54 million unique viewers tuned in across national networks including ABC, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ION, and NBA TV. The league also reported 154 sellouts in 2024, a remarkable 242% increase from the previous season’s 45, and her arrival transformed fan engagement: social media viewership rose 436%, merchandise sales jumped 601%, and overall attendance climbed by nearly half.
Even in a year when Clark has played only 13 games due to injury, the WNBA has continued to set new records. By August 2025, attendance had surpassed 2.5 million fans – the highest in league history – and that number has since topped 3 million.
These achievements suggest that Caitlin Clark‘s influence transcends her statistical performance. And I respected that from her, because it could have easily not been that way. She gave us her best when she was in the locker room. You talk about a kid in a candy store – that’s Caitlin.
