The 2025 WNBA season is shaping up to be an exciting ride, and all eyes are on the Indiana Fever, led by Caitlin Clark. After dazzling in her rookie year, the rising star is ready to take her performance to new heights.

With a new coach at the helm and key additions in free agency, the Fever are ready to give it their all. The excitement is building as they prepare for a season full of expectations, with the clear goal of making a deep playoff run after suffering a cruel end to last season.

However, there was some bad news with Caitlin Clark, who did not play in the first preseason game due to a left leg injury, but even though it was only an exhibition game, Indiana must be relieved to have their star back and in her usual style.

Caitlin Clark returns to action

In front of an enthusiastic crowd at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the Indiana Fever star showed her potential in her preseason debut against the Brazilian national team. She scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists in three-quarters of play, while knocking down four three-pointers on six attempts.

Her performance ignited the hopes of a franchise that dreams of winning a championship. It’s no wonder they’ve invested so much and have the roster to back it up.

The Indiana Fever crushed Brazil in the exhibition game, with Clark‘s team winning 104-44.

Not only that, but Caitlin Clark made a spectacular gesture that quickly stole the show.

Caitlin shows her genius

With a shot from almost the same corner that marked her historic collegiate feat, Clark once again left her mark on the court. The crowd responded enthusiastically, celebrating another memorable moment in her young career.

Before she begins a new season with the Indiana Fever of the WNBA, she has one more preseason commitment, facing the Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center Arena.

Expectations are high and it feels like she is ready to compete in the league. Caitlin Clark is on fire and looking to continue breaking records. This WNBA season definitely promises a lot of excitement and there is no way they will disappoint.
