Caitlin Clark has reassured Indiana Fever supporters with news they’ve long been waiting to hear. The WNBA standout confirmed that she is now fully healthy after dealing with a groin injury that sidelined her for most of the season.

Clark spoke about her recovery during a walking interview at The ANNIKA Pro-Am golf event. Accompanied by teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull, who served as her caddies, she reflected on her limited preparation time leading up to the tournament.

Fortunately, she said her health has steadily improved in recent weeks.

“Now I am feeling back to a 100 percent,” Clark said.

Full recovery brings relief to Fever and fans

Even though the 2025 WNBA season has concluded, Clark‘s announcement has given fans a reason to smile. Head coach Stephanie White had previously suggested that Clark could return before the playoffs, but the team ultimately decided it was best for her to focus on healing completely.

In September, Clark confirmed she would miss the rest of the season to continue her rehabilitation. She appeared in just 13 games in her sophomore year, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists.

Her shooting percentages – 36.7% from the field and 27.9% from beyond the arc – reflected her struggles before the injury forced her to the sidelines.

Despite losing their star player, the Fever still made it to Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals, proving their growing strength as a team. With Clark returning at full strength, fans are already anticipating a deeper playoff run in 2026.

At The ANNIKA event, Clark‘s teammates brought some humor to the course. In a lighthearted moment captured on video, Sophie Cunningham playfully called out, “A little left, a little left,” after Clark‘s swing.

Clark, smiling, shot back, “Girl, I know.”

Their easy camaraderie was on full display – a sign of the chemistry that could help drive the Fever‘s success next season.
