Caitlin Clark is eager to get back to the court after missing several games due to an injury that has kept the Indiana Fever out.

One of the WNBA‘s most popular players would love to contribute to her team, currently sixth on the league standings with a 15-12 record.

Clark is the engine, the playmaker that can distribute to her teammates (9 assists per game, 2nd in WNBA) and spread the floor with her deep shooting range that makes her one of the most valuable ballers for any franchise in the league.

Caitlin gets crushed by a teammate

Caitlin Clark hasn’t played since July 16 after re-aggravating a groin injury, and she’s set to miss her sixth straight game against the Dallas Wings, who are lead by rookie sensation Paige Bueckers. But the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year hasn’t lost her competitive edge off the court.

Clark and teammate Lexie Hull squared off in a flip cup tic-tac-toe challenge during team activities. The playful matchup quickly turned intense, as the Fever stars battled for bragging rights and the opportunity to show who’s better at it.

Despite Clark‘s best effort, Hull dominated the challenge and claimed victory, leaving Clark laughing. Even sidelined, the young star keeps the energy high and the team chemistry strong, something the Fever will need for the remainder of the season if they want to make a deep playoff run.

Fever gets ready to face the Wings

The Indiana Fever (15-12) embark on their longest road trip of the regular season over the next week, a four-game trip that tips off this Friday night in Dallas against Rookie of the Year favorite Paige Bueckers and the flashy Wings.

Indiana heads on the road riding a three-game win streak, their most recent victory an impressive 107-101 win over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Even with All-Star guard and leading scorer Kelsey Mitchell battling foul trouble much of the night, the Fever offense was rolling on Wednesday.

Point guard Aari McDonald scored a career-high 27 points and All-Star center Aliyah Boston tallied 17 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter. The Fever‘s 107 points were the third-most ever scored by the franchise in a regular season game. Victories have been hard to come by this season for the Wings (8-20), but they have collected two impressive victories over their last five games.
