Caitlin Clark, the star of the Iowa Hawkeyes, recently joined Travis and Jason Kelce on their popular podcast, “New Heights.”
Clark shared some fun stories and discussed everything from her favorite karaoke songs to Iowa football traditions.

Known for her on-court precision and her humor off the court, Clark revealed her ultimate karaoke choice, a song she believes is perfect for any duet.
“Oh, that’s tough. It switches up, you know what’s good? ‘Where is the Love?’ by Black Eyed Peas. That’s a good karaoke song,”Clark said.
She added that she loves to perform duets, often picking a friend to join her.
“Honestly, it changes up. I like a little duet action, so you could go up there with your friends.”
Her perfect duet partner? Teammate Aliyah Boston.
The pair have harmonized together on several occasions, last year, when asked about their ideal karaoke song, Clark enthusiastically agreed with Boston’s choice of the High School Musical soundtrack.
“High School Musical. That’s what we’re going with. Or some Justin Bieber,” Clark laughed, imagining the duo’s energetic performance.
Off the court, Clark has praised Boston’s leadership, noting how the two support each other both professionally and personally.
“Her leadership has been amazing,”Clark said.
“She’s been one of the biggest voices in our locker room. She’s been somebody that’s been there to pick me up, I’ve been there to pick her up.”
During the episode, the trio also delved into Iowa’s beloved football traditions, particularly the “Hawkeye Wave.”
Jason Kelce expressed admiration for the tradition, noting the unique connection it fosters between the team and the children’s hospital.
Clark, who has deep ties to Iowa, called the wave “probably one of the best traditions in all of sports, if not the best.”
Jason jokingly suggested a new wave for the stadium, sparking laughter from Clark.
“Maybe we can get that started too,” she joked, adding that Iowa fans would be “fired up” to try both waves in the stadium.
As Clark prepares to have her #22 jersey retired in February 2025, it’s clear that her legacy at Iowa is as strong off the court as it is on.
