Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull tried to see how many marshmallows they can fit in their mouths

Even though the WNBA is in its offseason, Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull found a different way to keep competing. During the holidays, away from the court and free from any schedule pressure, they shared a moment that showed more than just laughter: a friendship that is built outside the game as well.

They took on a simple challenge to see how many strawberry and watermelon flavored marshmallows they could fit in their mouths at the same time. There were no complicated rules and nothing at stake, but from the start it was clear how seriously both of them leaned into it. Every gesture and every laugh confirmed that competition can also be part of having fun together.

The marshmallow winner

The most talked about moment came when Caitlin was the first to give in. She did not last as long as she hoped and almost immediately jumped up and ran to the bathroom to spit out the marshmallows, with Lexie right behind her, laughing. The scene was quick, spontaneous, and perfectly captured the level of trust between them.

Lexie managed to hold on a bit longer and claimed the small victory in the challenge, though the result itself quickly became secondary.

For now, both Indiana Fever players already have the calendar in mind and know that the next WNBA season will tip off in May 2026, a year expected to bring some changes. In the meantime, moments like these away from the court show that their connection goes beyond the scoreboard. Not everything is built during a game. Some of it grows in shared time, in laughter, and in that light competition that strengthens their bond.
