Brutal fight overshadows Curry and Warriors’ victory over the Bucks: Was Draymond Green involved this time?

A fan brawl in the upper deck became the defining image at Chase Center on Tuesday night, briefly pulling the spotlight away from the court during the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

On the court, the night belonged to Stephen Curry. He poured in 31 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 120-113 victory, their latest statement win at home.

Giannis Antetokounmpo answered with a game-high 34 points for the Milwaukee Bucks, but Milwaukee could not match Golden State’s execution down the stretch.

Multiple fan-recorded videos that quickly surfaced on social media show two men engaged in a physical altercation in the upper seating area.

As the scuffle escalated, a third individual wearing a Stephen Curry No. 30 jersey jumped into the fight. That person appeared to throw repeated punches at one of the men, intensifying the scene as nearby spectators stood up to watch.

For a moment, the game faded into the background. Fans turned away from the court, craning their necks and standing on seats to get a better look. The buzz inside the arena shifted from basketball energy to stunned reactions as the fight unfolded.

In a moment that felt almost surreal, the live broadcast continued uninterrupted. As punches flew in the stands, the announcers’ call cut through the noise: “Warriors’ Draymond Green shoots a two!”

The timing was accidental but jarring. Green, whose physical style has often drawn attention this season, had nothing to do with the incident.

Green quietly posted 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists, unaware that his name would be tied to a moment unfolding far from the action.

Security intervenes as focus drifts away from the game

Arena security eventually reached the group and separated those involved. Only the fan wearing the Curry jersey was escorted out of the section. As he was led away, he appeared to shout something toward the other two men, though the words were not audible in the videos.

What stood out afterward was how abruptly the tension dissolved. The two men who had initially been fighting were later seen standing calmly, no longer engaged with each other and seemingly unconcerned as the third fan was removed.

The incident did not stop play, draw official comment during the game, or involve any players directly. Still, it cut sharply against the environment the Warriors aim to cultivate at Chase Center, which is often promoted as a modern, family-friendly arena.

On the floor, Golden State stayed composed. Curry controlled the closing minutes, the offense found clean looks, and the Warriors pulled away late to secure the win. Antetokounmpo‘s dominance kept Milwaukee competitive, but the Bucks could not overcome Golden State’s shot-making when it mattered most.
