Dak Prescott’s exceptional numbers
Dak Prescott has accumulated 3,637 yards. These numbers put him in the conversation for MVP. Dallas’s offence leads the league in yards per game, 275.5 through the air and 394.4 total.
With such statistics, one might assume the team would be near the top, yet they now have a greater chance of falling out of a postseason spot than entering one.
A troubling defence for Dallas
The picture changes when discussing the Cowboys’ defence. They rank 29th in the league. They allow 378.6 yards per game. Under such conditions, the team cannot be competitive.
The Cowboys’ record stands at 6-6-1, and although opportunities exist, they are limited.

Dak Prescott is affected by what happened in that TNF. They cannot emerge from a three-game winning streak only to collapse dramatically in the fourth.
