Brittany Mahomes is embracing every moment of motherhood – especially when her daughter, Sterling, wants to follow in her footsteps.
The 29-year-old co-owner of the Kansas City Current shared heartwarming moments from a recent family fishing trip on April 14, where her 4-year-old daughter Sterling stole the show.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Brittany posted sweet photos of Sterling standing proudly on a dock, cradling her baby doll in a floral carrier strapped to her chest – all while holding a fish she’d just caught.
“Catching fish, baby and all,” Brittany wrote over one image, capturing her daughter’s impressive multitasking skills. She added in another, “Just obsessed,” making it clear how much she loved seeing her daughter play mom while enjoying the outdoors.
The Mahomes Family Embraces Outdoor Adventures
Fishing outings seem to have become a regular bonding tradition for the Mahomes family.
Back on March 26, Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, shared another glimpse of family life on Instagram – this time showing 2-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III holding a fishing line with a small fish attached, looking both curious and slightly puzzled by the catch.
The couple, who welcomed their third child – daughter Golden Raye Mahomes – in January 2025, have made it a priority to balance quality time with each of their children, especially now as a family of five.
Brittany has often spoken about the importance of one-on-one time with kids. On March 14, she shared a sweet Instagram Story showing both herself and Patrick helping Sterling with a word puzzle and coloring during a solo outing.
“Took our girl for some one-on-one time today,” Brittany wrote, adding that creating individual moments is a top parenting tip when raising multiple children.
