Brian Schottenheimer’s punishment of George Pickens and Ceedee Lamb was half-hearted after mysterious reason revealed

The Dallas Cowboys’ 33-16 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11 was marked by unexpected drama on offense: the surprise absence of stars CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on the team’s first offensive series.

After the game, head coach Brian Schottenheimer referred to the situation as a simple “coach’s decision” due to “things that were overlooked,” keeping the mystery alive. However, sources close to the team revealed that the ‘benching’ was a clear disciplinary measure.

The reason behind the punishment for Pickens and Lamb

Apparently, the cause of the punishment was the violation of the team’s internal rules. Lamb and Pickens reportedly broke the curfew set by the Cowboys during their stay in Las Vegas. According to reports, security cameras caught both players in the hotel lobby after the imposed time limit.

Despite the disciplinary action, the tension quickly dissipated. Cameras showed Schottenheimer approaching the receivers during the first half of the game, where they exchanged hugs and smiles, indicating that the incident was handled and resolved internally.

After several rumors that exaggerated the situation, it seems that it was just a small breach by the players and nothing more. Schottenheimer took the appropriate measures, but his annoyance did not last long, as the victory in the game left him quite happy.

Criticism of Jerry Jones for not wanting to remodel AT&T Stadium

Beyond the game won by the Cowboys, the controversy surrounding the team’s owner Jerry Jones extended after the NFL went to Madrid to play a game at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Dolphins faced the Washington Commanders and the game was a real party for the Spanish public.

The questions came when people were amazed by the technology of the Santiago Bernabeu, where many began to pressure Jones to do something similar with the AT&T Stadium, however, that is far from happening.

Jerry Jones has been asked if he will do anything new with the stadium, but his answer is clear, stating that “he will never change the artificial field at AT&T Stadium“, so fans and especially players will have to resign themselves.
