How did the ex-Green Bay Packers Brett Favre‘s congratulatory post to his friend, Donald Trump, on the day of his inauguration end with a $10,000 bet with John Rocker?
The 78-year-old Republican politician has now officially returned to the White House for four years, and has already issued a wave of executive orders as MAGA fans across the United States celebrate whilst everyone else despairs.
Yet one person celebrating was Favre, who has been accused of misuse of state welfare funds in Mississippi, but is yet to be charged. The former NFL quarterback is a long time friend of Trump and often appears at his rallies or plays golf with him, and he rejoiced in his return to power.
“I just want to congratulate President @realDonaldTrump on taking office today,” Favre posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, on January 20. “He’s been a good friend.

The terms? The loser of their game donates $10,000 to support the United States’ border patrol, an organization of particular importance to Trump and the Republican’s policies since he burst onto the scene in 2016.
“Heck, all proceeds. Once this back gets to 50% healed,” Favre responded, upping the stakes and revealing he’s currently battling a back injury. However, it’s unknown if this is connected to his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.
