An unprecedented moment took place in a boxing ring on Saturday night. During the undercard of The Ring VI, several fights before Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson stepped into the ring, Jarrell Miller went through all of the emotions in his fight against Kingsley Ibeh.
Miller ended up coming out on top, beating Ibeh by split decision and earning his first win since March 18, 2023. “Big Baby” had fought twice since then, losing to Daniel Dubois (his first-ever loss) and drawing against Andy Ruiz Jr. While Miller will savor the victory, it came at the cost of becoming a meme.

During the fight, Miller’s “hair” became loose as a result of Ibeh’s strong punches. With the toupee hanging on for dear life, Miller ended up throwing it into the crowd.
It ended up finding a home ringside, where fellow heavyweight Fabio Wardley was seen taking care of it. It was getting passed around, as Australian boxer Skye Nicolson even took a picture with it, using it as a wig.
Despite becoming a meme, it was an important victory for Miller. He had gone over 17 months without fighting, with several potential bouts falling through during that time. With a 27-1-2 record, Miller still has a chance at some sort of title soon, but time is running out at 37 years old.
