The Buffalo Bills secured a 44-32 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11 after a great performance by their quarterback.

Josh Allen threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns on 19 of 30 completions, in addition to rushing for 40 yards and three more touchdowns. The QB shone, even despite throwing two interceptions. His performance also earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Allen achieves a new milestone in his career

With a completion percentage of 63.3% and finishing second behind James Cook III (48) as the team’s leading rusher, Josh earned his second POTW award this season.

He earned his first against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, and since entering the NFL in 2018, he has accumulated 17 in total, the most for any player.

In addition, the game against the Bucs was Allen’s first with three or more touchdown passes of more than 25 yards and his fourth with multiple touchdown passes of more than 40 yards.

His six touchdowns brought his total to 290, surpassing the 288 of NFL legend Peyton Manning. As if that weren’t enough, Allen recorded his 11th game in which he threw at least three touchdown passes and ran for at least one more, surpassing Tampa Bay icon Tom Brady‘s 10 games.

Meanwhile, Allen and Buffalo will try to extend their winning streak and will travel to Houston to face the Texans (5-5) in a Thursday Night Football game.

Their opponents will be without their starting quarterback, as CJ Stroud will be out with a concussion, missing his third consecutive game. Davis Mills will take his place on the field.
