Hailee Steinfeld is embracing Los Angeles’ late-summer glow while her husband, the Buffalo Bills‘ Josh Allen, prepares for the grind of the upcoming NFL season as he looks for Super Bowl glory.
Months after their private California wedding in May and a discreet Hawaiian honeymoon, the actress has returned to her West Coast base for some much-needed TLC and rest and recovery.
She’s busy balancing her not only her Hollywood lifestyle with her personal interests, but also with the growing responsibilities of being married to one of football’s most high-profile players.
Since Allen‘s immediate return to preseason training camp in New York, Steinfeld has divided her time between quick visits to Buffalo and the comfort of her Encino estate, valued at $8 million.
The couple shared a brief but intimate night out in Buffalo before the actress settled back into California, where she has been frequently spotted enjoying the city’s year-round sunshine.
Her summer style has already made headlines. On the Fourth of July, Steinfeld appeared at a beach gathering in a red, white, and blue look, cocktail in hand, projecting effortless Americana chic.
Days later, she was photographed in a bold orange bikini, showcasing what she later called her “sunkissed” aesthetic. Recently, she has been soaking up what she describes as “perfect eighty-five-degree and sunny days” after recovering from a short illness.
“As an L.A. girl, I’ve always had an overflowing swimsuit drawer,” Steinfeld told the Beau Society. “One pieces, tops, bottoms, and cover-ups.
“I’m fascinated by the design process of swimwear, how materials are sourced, and what makes a good suit.
“A few years ago, I did a limited-edition collection with Frankie’s Bikinis, and I still have some of the pieces.”
That affinity for fashion was on display again as she donned a striking pink bikini poolside in LA. For now, the 28-year-old is firmly under Californian skies, though she is expected to swap bikinis for Bills jerseys when her MVP takes to the field.
Hailee Steinfeld’s next movie: What will Josh Allen’s wife be in next?
While her personal life has drawn public attention, Steinfeld is also shaping her next chapter on screen as following the commercial and critical success of Sinners, Ryan Coogler’s supernatural horror, she has signed on for Winter Games, an Olympic-themed romantic drama.
In the film, produced by Paramount and Star Thrower Entertainment, Steinfeld portrays a driven but underrecognized skier who crosses paths with a self-destructive hockey legend, played by Miles Teller [Top Gun: Maverick, Whiplash].
Directed by Paul Downs Colaizzo, the story unfolds in the pressure-filled environment of the Winter Olympic Village, where personal ambition collides with unexpected romance.
With its blend of sports, high emotion, and redemption arcs, Winter Games reflects Steinfeld’s careful choice of projects following Sinners.
She is also set to return as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, though that release is not due until 2027.
