For Aaron Rodgers, what may be his final NFL season has begun on a high note. Following his arrival to the Pittsburgh Steelers and confirmation as the starting quarterback for the 2025 campaign, the veteran has now received family news that could bring even greater joy: his brother and sister-in-law, JoJo Fletcher, are expecting their first child. The couple announced that the baby is due in early 2026, a milestone that has already generated excitement among relatives and fans.

Last Thursday, JoJo Fletcher shared the announcement on her Instagram account, revealing her pregnancy with a photo showing her baby bump. Alongside the image, she added a heartfelt caption:

We love you so much already, our sweet rainbow baby. Baby Rodgers coming January 2026.

Shortly after, Jordan Rodgers, Aaron’s younger brother, left his own emotional comment on the post.

Love you so much, Joelle. You’ve been so strong through everything. I can’t wait to see you as a mom.

Jordan and JoJo’s love story began in 2016 on the reality show The Bachelorette. They maintained a strong relationship after the program, eventually marrying in 2022. Their wedding was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced them to postpone their initial plans.

A strained relationship within the Rodgers family

Despite the joyful news, family dynamics between Aaron and his brother Jordan remain tense. Although Aaron was invited to Jordan’s wedding, he chose not to attend, reportedly upset by his sibling’s decision to air private family matters during the television show. At the time, Aaron criticized those public revelations, stating that such comments were inappropriate for a national audience.

Aaron Rodgers’ own marriage

Earlier this year, Aaron also entered a new stage in his personal life. In early 2025, he quietly married Brittani, his longtime partner, in a discreet ceremony. The quarterback has remained protective of his privacy, only confirming the wedding occurred about two months before the official announcement.

With this step, Aaron joins his brothers Jordan and Luke in married life. Very little is publicly known about Brittani, though Rodgers hinted at her presence during a December 2024 appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, when he mentioned Christmas shopping with her.

Steelers place their trust in Rodgers

On the field, Rodgers faces the challenge of leading the Steelers under head coach Mike Tomlin, who has expressed strong confidence in his new quarterback. Pittsburgh is eager to extend its streak of winning seasons and, more importantly, secure its first postseason victory since 2016.

Here is the Steelers’ full 2025 schedule:

  • Week 1 (Sept. 7, Sunday): at New York Jets
  • Week 2 (Sept. 14, Sunday): vs. Seattle Seahawks
  • Week 3 (Sept. 21, Sunday): at New England Patriots
