Ayesha Curry and her daughter Riley demonstrate how to have a great mother-daughter time supporting an NBA player

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Ayesha Curry and her eldest daughter, Riley, are enjoying more quality time together as a family. With Riley now 12 years old, her growing independence allows for different kinds of shared activities and experiences with her parents. This natural evolution of their relationship is often visible in their public appearances and social media posts, suggesting a strengthening bond as Riley navigates her pre-teen years.

Ayesha has been a dedicated supporter of her husband, Stephen, and their children, especially Riley. Many remember Riley’s adorable appearances at press conferences during the 2015 NBA Western Conference Finals when she was just two years old, which quickly made her a fan favorite. Now, as Riley is 12, it’s a different experience for Riley to witness these later stages of her father’s remarkable basketball career from the sidelines.

This heartwarming scene during the Golden State Warriors’ 2025 NBA Play-In game against the Memphis Grizzlies. It was a crucial match for the Warriors as they fought to secure their spot in the playoffs. Ultimately, they succeeded, winning the contest with a final score of 121-116. The presence of Ayesha and a now older Riley cheering from the sidelines likely provided Stephen Curry with extra motivation during this important game.

The Golden State Warriors have indeed shown significant improvement since Jimmy Butler joined their roster. His arrival seems to have ignited the team, leading to a noticeable surge in their performance across the board. Beyond just on-court skills, Butler’s presence appears to have positively impacted the team’s chemistry away from the game.

The Warriors lost Klay Thompson early this season, a vital player in their four championship wins alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. However, the arrival of Jimmy Butler has been a game-changer for the team. He has been performing exceptionally well, even achieving the fastest triple-double recorded by a Warriors player since 1972. This impressive feat occurred during their recent victory against the Houston Rockets in the opening game of the 2025 playoffs series for them.

It would indeed be irresponsible to overlook the Golden State Warriors as serious contenders for the NBA championship this year. Their current form, particularly since Jimmy Butler’s arrival, coupled with the wealth of playoff experience within their core of Curry, Green, and now Butler, makes them a formidable force. While teams like the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and the second-seeded Houston Rockets have had impressive regular seasons, the Warriors’ proven track record in high-stakes playoff environments gives them a distinct advantage.
