The Curry brothers, Stephen and Seth, will for the first time be playing together in the NBA. Stephen has built a solid career with the Golden State Warriors since arriving at the franchise. By contrast, Seth has moved through several teams during his time in the league and throughout his professional career.
Now that they have the chance to be together and contribute jointly to their team, the moment has not gone unnoticed. They have yet to share the court, as Stephen continues recovering from a quadriceps injury.
Still, that did not stop Stephen’s wife, Ayesha, from dedicating an emotional post to her brother-in-law, Seth, after his appearance with the team and ahead of his upcoming opportunity to play beside his brother.
A back-and-forth journey for Seth Curry with the Golden State Warriors
Last summer, Seth Curry trained with the Warriors but was released and did not debut next to his brother. From that moment, he waited for another chance, which arrived earlier this week when the franchise re-signed him.
His debut came on Tuesday, December 2, against the reigning champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder. He delivered a solid performance, playing 18 minutes and recording 14 points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds.
The Warriors lost 112-124, but for Curry, the score was not the most important part. What mattered was returning to the court and showing his talent in the place where he feels happiest.

Seth Curry chose number 31 for his jersey, one digit after his brother Stephen’s. His debut was so meaningful that he shared photos of his first moments on the court wearing the team uniform.
Since arriving in the NBA, Seth’s path has taken many turns, and he has lost hope of ever playing alongside his brother, a moment he once believed might never come. After passing through several teams over the years, that moment is finally close.
Seth was selected in 2013 by the Warriors but did not play with them until now. He is now an official member of the team and awaits his older brother’s recovery so they can finally share the court.
