Ashton Jeanty sent a strong message to Tom Brady in Las Vegas Raiders’ victory over the Tennessee Titans

After four consecutive losses, the Las Vegas Raiders returned to the winning path by defeating the Tennessee Titans 20-10 at home, in a game where rookie Ashton Jeanty led the victory. Jeanty was selected in the first round of last year’s Draft. This marks the first win for the team coached by Pete Carroll since Week 1, when they defeated the New England Patriots.

It was a great opportunity for the Raiders, and losing it was not an option, as they could have fallen further behind in the AFC West. However, with this win, the team led by Geno Smith has shown signs of life, and with Pete Carroll’s experience as Head Coach, this team could rise and compete in the coming weeks.

Geno Smith could breathe easier with this victory; he threw a touchdown pass to Michael Mayer and totaled 176 passing yards. The main problem for Smith is that he was intercepted once, and after six weeks, the Raiders’ quarterback already has 10 interceptions. Still, the win keeps him in the starting role, at least for another week.

Ashton Jeanty finished leading the Raiders’ victory

Rookie Ashton Jeanty, selected in the first round with the sixth overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders, has had ups and downs this NFL season. His best performance was undoubtedly in Week 4, when they lost to the Chicago Bears; even so, he recorded 155 total yards and three touchdowns.

Against the Tennessee Titans, Jeanty didn’t post huge stats, but he still led his team to victory. The Boise State product had 23 carries for 75 yards and one touchdown, but most importantly, he managed the clock perfectly with those carries, allowing Las Vegas to control the game.

“This win is the result of teamwork and determination. We’ve overcome tough moments, but today we showed what we can achieve when we are united,” said Head Coach Pete Carroll after the game against the Titans.

One thing is certain: the Raiders achieved a very important victory, especially for the confidence it gives them heading into a tough schedule. Their next three games are against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Denver Broncos-a very challenging mission.
