The rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol is getting closer and closer in a fight named “The Last Crescendo” where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host one of the most anticipated boxing matches at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
It should be remembered that in their first fight, both fighters were undefeated, but at the end of the 12 rounds, Artur Beterbiev was declared the winner. This result was not to the liking of Dimitry Bivol, who said that it was not the performance he would have liked to offer. When he was offered the rematch, he accepted it, so he has a new opportunity to win the WBA light heavyweight title
At the moment of victory, Artur Betrbiev declared: “I wanted to box today with more quality. I don’t know why, but I didn’t like this fight. But someday I’ll be better. If the rematch happens, then we can do it.”
Meanwhile, the obligatory question reached the ears of Dmitry Bivol to which he responded: “Why not? If I have this opportunity, yes. My dream is to be world champion in an undisputed way. I will prepare myself in the best way physically and mentally”
The card in Saudi Arabia includes seven title fights, including the co-main event for the IBF heavyweight title between Daniel Dubois, who will expose it against Joseph Parker. Meanwhile, Shakur Stevenson is looking to defend his belt against Floyd Schofield in an undefeated lightweight title fight.
