“The Yankees lead the majors in home runs by a wide margin – who had a 30-plus home run season from Trent Grisham on their bingo card? – and Giancarlo Stanton showed up midseason looking like the Miami Marlins’ Stanton.”

But mixed in with all these positives have also been several negatives: defense and sloppy baserunning and, most worryingly as we head into October, an extremely inconsistent bullpen that ranks 22nd in the majors in win probability added.”
