Antonio Brown uses Magic Johnson’s son, EJ Johnson, to provoke Cam Heyward, who responded with a strong warning

Although they were former teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers for eight seasons, both made headlines after their altercation on X, formerly Twitter.

Cam Heyward, defensive tackle for the Steelers, did not sit idly by after the provocative message Antonio Brown sent him on social media.

On his official account, Brown posted a comparative photo of NBA legend Magic Johnson’s son, EJ, and wrote: “Cam Hayward is Magic’s son?“

This, of course, did not go unnoticed by Heyward, who did not hesitate to respond almost two hours later. Referring to the spelling mistake in his post, Cam replied to the tweet and left him a warning saying: “Good thing you can’t spell?! Let me know when you’re back in the States.”

The two played together for a few years in Pittsburgh, when Heyward arrived in 2011 after being selected 31st in the draft, following Antonio Brown’s first year on the team. Their time together ended with Brown’s transfer to the Oakland Raiders in 2019, but together they led the Steelers to five playoffs and the AFC Championship Game in 2016.

The Brown controversy

The truth is that last week, an arrest warrant was issued for Antonio Brown for attempted murder after he was involved in a shooting. The incident occurred on May 16 in Miami after a boxing event. There, the wide receiver allegedly stole a security guard’s gun and shot a man he was arguing with, according to witnesses.

After the incident, Brown took to his official X account to explain that they tried to assault him and steal his jewelry. After being arrested and giving a statement, he was released and traveled to the Middle East.

Now, according to the Miami Herald, he is expected to return to the US and surrender to authorities to continue with the process, as he began his trip before the warrant was issued.

If found guilty, Antonio Brown could face up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
