Angel Reese jumped from the basketball court to the catwalk at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and made history as the first professional athlete to walk in this event.
The Chicago Sky star had a great debut, and her biggest fan, her mom, shared her happiness and pride for her.

On the night of Wednesday, October 15, Angel finally fulfilled one of her biggest dreams off the court: walking in this major fashion show.
During her two appearances, the two-time All-Star Game player wore two sets of lace lingerie in shades of pink: one accompanied by a voluminous pink tulle shawl adorned with flowers, while the other was accompanied by an open baby doll shirt and the brand’s signature wings.
Angel Webb Reese, the 23-year-old forward’s mother, did not miss this moment. On her official X account (formerly Twitter), she shared her daughter’s first appearance on the runway with her followers while Madison Beer sang and she, from the audience, shouted and cheered her on: “Yup brought me to tears seeing my Angel #proudmom,” she wrote in the post.
Later, her mother shared a second video in which she is seen watching the Sky forward appear on the catwalk again, her gaze attentive and overflowing with pride and love for her daughter. “That’s my baby,” she shouts enthusiastically as she waves and cheers energetically. “Wait for my words at the end,” Webb said in her post.
Enjoying the offseason, Reese is not missing any opportunity to pursue her dreams and personal projects. This fashion show comes on the heels of her recent debut in the world of cinema with “A House of Dynamite,” which premiered in theaters on October 10 and which she described as a great experience and a possible future career, and she continues to record her podcast “Unapologetically Angel.”
In addition, in the world of fashion, she has just made a big splash at the Met Gala and launched her footwear brand “the Angel Reese 1” with Reebok.
Meanwhile, we will have to wait until May to see her display her talent on the court when the 2026 season begins.
The 23-year-old forward closed out her second year as the league’s leading rebounder, a two-time All-Star Game selection, and averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
