Angel Reese’s million-dollar investment as she follows her convictions

Angel Reese has already become one of the most recognizable faces in women’s basketball-but her ambitions extend far beyond rebounds and All-Star appearances.

The Chicago Sky forward, known for her dominant play and magnetic personality, has steadily built a portfolio of earnings that mostly comes from outside the WNBA court.

While her league salary is modest compared to many professional athletes, Reese has cultivated a lucrative presence in fashion, endorsements, and now, entrepreneurship.

After an impressive collegiate career at Maryland and LSU, Reese entered the WNBA and quickly blossomed into a twotime All-Star. Her on-court skill set – combining agility, power, and basketball IQ – has made her a fan favorite, but Reese has made it clear that basketball is just one part of her personal brand.

Despite the league’s under-the-radar salaries, where many players earn well under six figures, Reese‘s endorsement deals have helped her build financial independence and cultural influence at a remarkably young age.

Her endorsement résumé reads like a who’s who of top consumer brands, including deals with Reebok, McDonald’s, Beats by Dre, and more. Reese has also appeared in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and is expected to make history as one of the first professional athletes to model in the Victoria’s Secret runway show.

These opportunities demonstrate her ability to navigate industries that few athletes of any gender access, further cementing her status as a trailblazer in both sports and lifestyle branding.

Reese’s newest business move

In a move that underscores her growing business acumen, Reese has now become an investor in the beauty and wellness space. She recently participated in a funding round for Topicals, a Blackled skincare company that has gained attention for products tailored to textured skin and chronic skin concerns.

The company, founded in 2020, has now raised over $22.6 million in total funding. Reese‘s involvement is significant not just for the capital she contributes but also for the visibility it brings to Black-led innovation in the beauty industry.

Her decision to invest reflects a combination of personal interest and strategic foresight. Reese has long been passionate about fashion and beauty, telling VOGUE that her life has always been “both: basketball and fashion.”

By stepping into the investment world, she is using her platform to support companies that align with her values, while also securing long-term financial growth that extends beyond her playing career.

Reese‘s career is already a blueprint for the modern athlete: blending athletic excellence, cultural relevance, and smart business decisions. With her latest venture into Topicals, she is showing that sports stardom can be a launchpad for influence and lasting impact, both on and off the court.
